The Watch on the Fencepost

A watch that tells more than the time …

In a deserted park on a cold winter day, twenty-seven-year-old Kathryn Frasier discovers a gold watch on a fencepost, and she has an ominous sense that it was deliberately left for her to find. But when she identifies the owner of the watch, she uncovers a dark family secret and a suspicion that her parents’ recent deaths may not have been an accident.

Thrown into the hunt for a possible killer, Kathryn follows a puzzling trail of cryptic clues, and encounters a cast of characters who all had a connection to her parents, including an actress with a talent for disguises and an ambitious politician with a secret of his own. And then there’s Phil, the handsome businessman who turns Kathryn’s life upside-down when he shows a sudden romantic interest in her.

As she closes in on the truth, she finds new meaning in faith, family, and love. But with her own life in danger, can she solve the mystery before it’s too late? And then there’s that other watch …
