Word Sharpeners Weekly – March 7, 2016

Word Sharpener News: This month is special for two reasons. First, at the end of the month is Easter, the holiest day in church history, the day that commemorates Christ rising from the dead and gaining victory over sin and death. Second, March is Women’s History Month. Throughout the month, I’ll write a series of blog posts about women preachers and missionaries who preached the Kingdom of God. It should be fun.

Verse of the Week: Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die. Do you believe this?”  John 11:25-26

Quotes of the Week: It is a safe thing to trust Him to fulfill the desires which He creates”   Amy Carmichael
