Happy President’s Day!
When I was young, we used to celebrate one day for Abraham Lincoln’s birthday and another for George Washington’s birthday. Now we celebrate one day for all the presidents. I’m not sure that’s a better way to go. I’m convinced that society lifts up those who are famous but immoral instead of honoring our heroes. One day for all of our president, both good and bad, seems to negate that.
