Psalm 150 Praise the Lord. Praise God in his sanctuary; praise him in his mighty heavens. Praise him for his acts of power; praise him for his surpassing greatness. Praise him with the sounding of the trumpet, praise him with the harp and lyre, praise him with timbrel and dancing, praise him with the strings and pipe, praise him with the clash of cymbals, praise him with resounding cymbals. Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. Praise the Lord.
Today’s life challenge is to praise the Lord. We all need to take time out of our busy schedules to spend a day thinking about His goodness and mercy. That’s one reason the Sabbath was created. So today is the day to get your praise on.
Read Psalm 150 again. Praise God for anything that occurs to you while you’re reading it.
Make a list of 10 things to praise God for. You can write these things in your journal or use your journal to find them. Then praise Him for each thing on the list.
Spend some time considering how God has moved throughout your life. Praise Him for it.
Play praise music all day today. If you’re at work and can play music at your desk, do so with earphones to keep the music from disturbing others. When you’re by yourself, sing along. If you play an instrument, praise God with instruments. If you can dance, even if you can’t, dance to the Lord. If you have young children, have them join in. Spend time resting in the presence of God without worrying about your to do list.
