My Review: ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥
This is the fourth book I’ve read in the Patrick Bowers Series. I read them out-of-order which I wouldn’t recommend. Each novel in the series is easy to read as a stand alone novel, but there are certain threads of storyline that go throughout the series. That being said, Steven James is fast becoming my favorite suspense thriller author of all times. James Patterson and Ted Decker have nothing on Steven James. He is that good. THE ROOK, the second novel in his Bowers Files Series is no exception. I loved it – loved it. And Patrick Bowers is such a likable character that I feel I know him, but at the same time, he is complex and has layers of depth. If you haven’t read this series, I highly recommend it, but I also recommend that you start with book 1, THE PAWN.
